What is TREND?
"TREND Magazine is a completely student-run publication focusing on fashion, beauty, body, and lifestyle for women and men in the Iowa State University community."

Throughout my time at Iowa State University, I was heavily involved with TREND Magazine. I quickly rose to become the Advertising Director after starting as a committee member. TREND is a campus organization that gives students hands-on experience and skills that they may apply in the industry after graduation. Below is some of my experience, the 2020 magazine issue, and some of the advertisements that I made for companies.
My First Semester
To the right is an image of me at the release party for TREND Magazine during my first semester being involved Fall 2019. I was so excited to see the printed magazine for the first time because I was able to see the finish result after all the work I did to help produce the magazine.

The 2020 ISSUE
The year 2020 was full of surprising twists and turns. We were unable to complete Issue 28 due to the fact that our spring 2020 semester was cut short because to COVID-19. We decided to combine Issues 28 and 29 into one large 2020 Issue when we returned to university in the fall of 2020. This is the largest TREND Magazine ever produced on campus, at 312 pages.
